My love for photography began back in the 70's when I was about eight years old and begged for a Polaroid camera for Christmas. I started out taking pictures of my cats, but through the years my love for photography grew. I fell in love with people, they are my favorite subject. Capturing emotion is what drives my soul.
Being able to capture the look on a new mother's face as she gazes at her tiny little miracle, the fresh peeling newborn skin, and tiny downy newborn curls is such a privilege. I adore being able to run around in the fresh green grass on a summer evening to capture young children blowing dandelion wishes in the wind. To experience and watch two people in love as they commit themselves to each other during their wedding vows is breathtaking, to capture it is eternal. This is what photography is all about to me, I'm in love with what I do for a living.
I love to travel, I'm a foodie - what I eat matters. I love to document people's lives including my own and my children's. Life is simple, loving God and loving family is everything. I have learned you need very little to be happy, and that my photographs are my most cherished posessions. I have been married for 25 happy years, have three beautiful daughters, three lively dogs, and my sisters are my favorite people in the world.
